Roblox Doors
Roblox Doors is currently one of the most challenging survival horror puzzle games on the Roblox platform. With 100 rooms full of traps and lurking creatures (Entities), completing this game has never been easy.
If you're stuck at door 50, frequently losing lives due to Rush, or don't know how to survive at door 100, this is your complete guide to easily navigate all 100 rooms in Roblox Doors!
Preparation Before Entering the Hotel
To gain an advantage from the very first rooms, you should use Knobs to purchase support items at the Pre-run Shop:
- Vitamin: Increases running speed for a short time; don't underestimate it, it's incredibly useful for chases.
- Flashlight or Lighter: Helps you see clearly in dark rooms to avoid Screech.
- Crucifix: The ultimate item that temporarily shackles and kills a monster (Save it for Door 50 or emergency situations).
Controls on the PC
- WASD or Arrow keys: Move the character (Forward, backward, left, right).
- C or Ctrl: Crouch / Stand up. (This key is extremely crucial at Door 50 and Door 100 to dodge Figures. You should get into the habit of using your little finger to press C or Ctrl quickly).
- E or Left mouse click: Interact. Used to open doors, open chests, pick up keys, pick up books, pick up money (Knobs), and hide in closets/under beds.
- Number keys 1 to 5: Select and switch between items in the backpack (Flashlight, vitamins, Crucifix, keys...).
- Left-click: Use that item (e.g., turn on the flashlight, drink a vitamin, hold up a cross).
- Left Shift: This key is used for Sprint when the stamina bar is full. On Floor 1, the character will automatically run at a fixed speed.
How to deal with Entities from Rooms 1 to 49
In the early stages, you need to familiarize yourself with the appearance mechanics of the entities and how to hide.
Rush: When the lights in the room flash continuously and there is a distant roar, immediately find a closet or under the bed to hide. Wait for the Rush to fly past (hear the sound of breaking glass) then escape immediately. If you've ever played the horror game The Man From The Window, you'll find this timing and reflexive hiding mechanism very familiar.
Ambush: Similar to Rush but far more dangerous. Ambush will run back and forth 2 to 6 times. You must hide in a closet, jump out when you hear it disappear to avoid being pushed out by Hide, and then jump back in when you hear it return. This high-pressure "cat and mouse" gameplay demands precision no less than the sequel in the horror hide-and-seek series, The Man from the Window 2.
Screech: When entering a dark room, if you hear a whisper "Psst!", immediately turn your camera to look directly at it. Screech will be startled and fly away without causing damage.
Eyes: When it appears, it will emit a purple light and a buzzing sound. Absolutely do not look directly at it. Look down at the ground or at the wall and continue moving to the next door.
Hide: Don't hide in the closet for too long! If the screen starts to dim and displays "GET OUT," exit immediately if you don't want your health to drop and you get kicked out.
Overcoming Door 50: The Library and Figure
Door 50 is the first major challenge. You will face the Figure - a monster without eyes but with extremely sensitive hearing.
Objective at Door 50: Find all 8 books scattered on the bookshelves and 1 clue on the table to decipher the 5-digit code to open the door.
Survival tips at Door 50:
- Always crouch: Crouching allows you to move completely silently. The Figure will not be able to detect you unless you crash into it.
- How to decode: The collected clue will have 5 symbols (e.g., Circle, Square, Triangle...). Each book you pick up will correspond to a symbol and a number. Match the symbols on the paper with the numbers in the book to find the 5-digit number sequence in the correct order.
- Heartbeat Mini-game: If you are forced to hide in a closet when Figure is nearby, a heartbeat mini-game will appear. You need to press the correct formatting keys on the screen to stay calm.
Door 100: The Final Battle in the Electrical Room
Congratulations, you've reached the final room! Here, Figure will return, more ferocious than ever.
Steps to beat Door 100:
Flip the first lever: As soon as you enter the room, run straight to the electrical room and flip the lever. The rolling door will open and Figure will chase you.
Run and collect the fuses: Run to the outer lobby area and hide in a safe place (or the safe room on the right). You need to find 10 fuses scattered on the floors and shelves. Always remember to crouch to avoid Figure.
Decode the electrical panel: After inserting all 10 fuses into the electrical box, you will play a mini-game to activate the switch.
- The screen will display numbered boxes (from 1 to 10) along with a colored or blank square.
- If the square is colored, press the button to turn that number on. If the square is empty, turn that number off.
- Note for turn 3: The last digit will be hidden by a question mark (?). You must be quick to spot the number before it turns back into a question mark.
Run towards the elevator: Immediately after decoding the electrical panel, power to the elevator will be restored. The figure will go berserk and charge forward. Run straight into the elevator with all your might to finish the game and successfully "conquer" Floor 1!
FAQs
How to recognize when the Rush monster is about to appear?
The clearest sign of a Rush is that the lights in the room will flicker once or twice, accompanied by a gradually increasing roar (a whistling sound) coming from a distance. As soon as you see this sign, you have about 3-5 seconds to find the nearest cupboard or under the bed to hide.
Why did I die while hiding in the closet even though Rush hadn't arrived yet?
If you hide in the closet for too long, the screen will blur red and the words "GET OUT" will appear. This is a mechanism of the Hide monster (Closet Keeper) to punish players who abuse the hiding feature. You should only jump into the closet when you hear the monster's voice and must exit immediately when the danger has passed.
Can the Crucifix destroy Figures or Seeks?
No. The Crucifix only restrains and blocks Figures or Seeks' attacks for a few seconds, allowing you to escape. It cannot destroy (drain them to hell) these two entities like regular monsters (Rush, Ambush, Screech, Eyes).
