The Man From The Window 2
Zed_Technician's horror comic series has officially returned with a sequel titled The Man From The Window 2. Continuing the thrilling "hide-and-seek" formula combined with real-time puzzle elements, part 2 presents a much tougher challenge with the appearance of new characters and incredibly tricky hiding places.
Gameplay Rules and Things to Know in Part 2
Before you begin, you need to understand the rules of The Man From The Window 2. You have exactly 5 minutes (time countdown in the game) to prepare before the Man Breaks Down the Door and Enters your house.
Characters you must manage:
- Mama Rabbit: Your main character.
- Junior Rabbit: Needs to find a safe hiding place.
- New characters: Depending on the chapter and storyline (such as Grandpa Rabbit or the delivery man), you will need to calculate additional hiding space.
Basic Hiding Rules:
Each hiding spot in the house has size and capacity limitations. You need to carefully read the comic book at the beginning of the game to find clues about the Man's weaknesses. This size-based hiding system works similarly to the claustrophobic survival mechanics in the game Bad Parenting.
How to Unlock All Endings in The Man From The Window 2
The game has a total of 3 main endings based on the number of characters who survive the Man From The Window's rampage.
Ending 1: Perfect Ending
This is the most difficult ending because you need to be extremely quick and remember the location of each item.
- Step 1: Explore the room, rummage through drawers and kitchen cabinets to find important items.
- Step 2: Assign hiding places for Junior. Place Junior in small locations that the Man From The Window can't reach (e.g., under a narrow bed, a small wardrobe, or a ventilation hole).
- Step 3: Find a hiding place for Mama Rabbit. Mama Rabbit is larger, so prioritize hiding places like behind bathroom curtains, in the refrigerator (if empty), or under a large table.
- Step 4: Use distraction items. The man in part 2 has a more acute sense of smell and hearing. You must place distracting items (like turning on the TV, leaving behind the smell of food) in the opposite direction of the hiding place.
- Result: The man leaves after the hunting time is over. The entire rabbit family is safe.
Ending 2: Bad Ending
This ending occurs when you fail to complete the puzzles in time or choose the wrong hiding place, allowing the Man to find you all.
- Quick Activation: Simply stand still in the living room or run around until the countdown timer reaches zero.
- Accidental Activation: Hide two large characters in the same small cabinet (Capacity: 1). The Man will detect the noise and capture both of you.
Ending 3: Sacrificial Ending
A dark ending where only one of the characters survives, usually Mama Rabbit sacrificing herself to protect Junior, or vice versa.
- How to do it: Hide Junior in an extremely secure location (like an open safe or a secret basement), but have Mama Rabbit hide in a vulnerable spot (like behind the living room door).
- Result: The man will abduct one person and leave the house, leaving the surviving character in panic and loneliness.
FAQs
How to buy more time before the Man From the Window enters the house?
Besides locking the front doors and windows to buy yourself 10-20 seconds of reaction time, you must make the most of the initial 5-minute countdown to clear obstacles or prepare distracting props to slow down his search.
How to get the Master Key in the game?
This key is usually randomly hidden in one of the kitchen drawers or in the Rabbit's jacket pocket (depending on the chapter you are playing). You need to quickly search within the first 2 minutes of the game to unlock the advanced hidden cabinets.
Is the plot of part 2 related to The Man From The Window from part 1?
Yes. The Man From the Window 2 continues to explore the fantasy world where anthropomorphic animals live and are hunted by a mysterious creature that stepped out of the pages of a book. Part 2 will expand on the game's lore, providing a deeper explanation of the Man's origins and why he consistently targets the Rabbit family.
