I stumbled upon this game recently and it totally blew my mind. At first glance, it feels like a simple, quirky visual novel. You meet Horu. She is the awkward but cute designated operator of the machine.

But do not let her nervous smile fool you. Things get dark very fast. You will soon realize that this title strongly belongs in the Horror Games category. It is a game about curiosity, weird multiversal data, and terrifying consequences.

How to play Anomalous Coffee Machine 2?

How do you actually play this game? It is very straightforward. You use the machine's virtual keyboard. Just click on the screen and type a word. Or, type a few words if you want to experiment. The machine will process your request. Sometimes it works perfectly. Other times, it might give you a weird error.

For example, on my first run, I typed the word Hello. The machine did a Multiversal Analysis and brewed a glowing green liquid. Once the drink is ready, you have a choice. You can drink it yourself. Or, you can let Horu drink it. If you ever get stuck, just look at the top left corner of your screen. Click the Light Bulb icon to get some useful hints.

Tips to Survive This Weird Machine

Let me tell you about my actual experience with this game. I told Horu to drink that cup of Hello. Big mistake. At first, she just said it tasted meh. Then, she mutated right in front of my eyes.

She turned into a tall, dark shadow monster wearing a creepy lace dress covered in spikes. She even cried and told me, 'I smell like something the world flushed but couldn't forget.' It was genuinely heartbreaking and scary. On another try, she grew a literal skull on her shoulder. The bizarre body horror really reminds me of the creepy vibes in The Freak Circus.

My best tip for you? Stay cautious. Horu warns you at the very beginning to be careful. Listen to her. Do not just type random, dangerous words unless you are ready to see some deeply unsettling transformations.
